Troop 511 is located in Wake Forest, NC. Our chartering organization is St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Wake Forest, NC. The troop was founded in 2003 and has been a real success due to the fine leadership and parental involvement. Today we have 25 scouts and 15 adult leaders and five Eagle Scouts. We meet on a weekly basis with the exception of holidays. Meetings are held on Tuesday from 7:00 - 8:30.
This is a boy run, boy lead Boy Scout Troop and we live up to the The Purpose, Aims, and Methods of Boy Scouting.
We camp at least one weekend every month and planned high adventure outings:
- Philmont 2011
- Northern Tier 2013
- Sea Base in 2015
