In 2003 Troop 511 was started with six Boy Scouts and three committee members. Since that time Troop 511 has grown to over 25 Boy Scouts, 10 Active Leaders, and 6 committee members. We are proud to have five Eagle Scouts.

We hold weekly meetings on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the St. Catherine's dining room.

Troop 511 has developed this website to:

• Keep our Scouts and Scouting families informed. The Internet provides the fastest way to communicate schedule changes, and late breaking news.
• Sharing our adventures with family, friends, and the Scouting community.
• Letting our community and the world know about our Troop, its activities, and objectives.
• Scouting offers something for our community's youth and gives back to the community through service projects. Most people aren't aware of this and we hope to add yet another way of communicating this through the Internet. And hey, we may even get lucky and recruit some new Scouts to our Troop!
